Henry County Emergency Management and Henry County Sheriffs Dept will be hosting the next meeting of West Tennessee Childcare in Disasters Training Workshop. The training is planned for March 31, 2016 at 6:30 PM- 8:30 PM at the 911/EMA Complex located at 204 N. Brewer St.Paris. Local Childcare providers are encouraged to attend for latest emergency preparedness information.
We are planning to have a state program childcare evaluator present updates to the childcare license checklist. Review a template of an emergency plan that DHS is providing the daycare operators and the Henry County Sheriffs Dept will provide training on active shooter/child abduction aimed for daycare providers and what law enforcement will be doing.
All local childcare providers are encouraged to attend. The event is free.
